With three little ones of my own, I worry about what the planet will be like for my children, for their children and for the generations well past my lifetime...

I thought a lot about what to do with the packaging for Love & Maeve. While the most sustainable option would have been to go minimalist on the packaging, I wanted to balance this with the joy we get from receiving a beautiful package... I hope I was able to get the balance right by choosing packaging that is all re-usable, re-cycleable or biodegradable.

• Your order will come in a re-usable cotton bag, perfect for storing your products or using as storage for other accessories such as brushes and tools. You can also re-purpose the bag as a pencil case or cosmetics bag.
• Moulds and cutters are individually packaged in recyclable cellophane bags (which can be recycled in the soft plastics recycling bin at your local supermarket).
• Large orders are packed in a cardboard box that you can keep and use to store your products, or otherwise they are 100% recyclable and can be placed in your paper recycling bin at home. The tissue paper can also be recycled.
• The mail satchels are 100% biodegradable and can be placed in your compost (cutting them up into smaller pieces will help speed up the breakdown process).
